The investigation began on the occasion of the complaint filed by the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare ICBF as per acronym in Spanish based in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, for the crime of trafficking in persons where the minors anonymous 1 and anonymous 2 are listed as victims. In the present judgment it can be identified that the Third Criminal Judge of the Specialized Circuit took the decision to convict the defendant in considering that the conduct executed by Mr. The foregoing considering the provisions of the Palermo protocol and national legislation, which describes trafficking in persons as a coercive or fraudulent way of restricting the ambulatory freedom of victims, where the protected legal right of personal autonomy is harmed, In addition to violating the fundamental rights of the people subjected to this scourge. The present case took into account that trade in bodies and prostitution are incompatible with the dignity and value of the person, jeopardizing the welfare of minors, the family and the community in general. The Judge defines that trafficking in persons is deprivation of freedom in an illegal manner along with the purpose that the author knows and states that it is nothing other than exploitation.
