Helmut Newton is the photographer who legitimized nudity and eroticism in fashion photography. Born in Berlin in to a Jewish family, he flees Nazi Germany and starts working as a freelance photographer in Australia for magazines such as Playboy. La Casa dei Tre Oci in Venice pays him homage with an exhibition which includes over pictures. The exhibition brings together photos from White Women , Sleepless Nights and Big Nudes , his first three books, published in the late Seventies, and the only ones curated by Newton himself.
